This Canadian artist lives only for painting and above all likes to sit outside with his easel and his brushes, painting only from nature. Inspired by the beauty of the landscape, he prefers the great outdoors to the confined atmosphere of the workshops. His impressionist canvases are generally painted with a spatula and represent the great Canadian spaces. Born in Montreal in 1938, he always showed a great attraction for nature. Seeking a way to express this attachment, he began by studying art in middle school under the direction of Brother Jérôme in 1950 and enrolled in 1956 at the Canadian Academy of Arts, then at the Institut des arts. applied in 1958. At the end of his studies, he continued to paint and even began to exhibit. Determined to share his talent with others, in 1965 he became a painting and sketching teacher.
